Turn a photo of a document into a flat scan
Photograph a passport page, an ID card or a certificate on a table, and this finds the page, flattens the angle and saves it as a JPEG under whatever file size your portal allows. It runs entirely on your device — the image is never uploaded, and nothing on it is read, stored or sent anywhere.
Leave the limit blank unless your portal states one. We deliberately do not guess it — take the number from the upload page you are submitting to, and check it again before you submit, because these change between cycles.
What this does and does not do
- It finds the document in the frame, corrects the angle you held the camera at, and encodes a JPEG. That is all it does to the pixels.
- It does not read, recognise or store anything on the document, and it does not send the image anywhere. Everything happens in this tab.
- It cannot tell you whether your portal will accept the file. It can only make the file the size and shape you asked for.
